Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Carver Crusaders (Carver, MA), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sharks now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Falmouth for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Monomoy will battle a Clippers squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA). The Clippers record now stands at 5-2.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Rockland Bulldogs (Rockland, MA) in a South Shore - Pilgrim game, on Thursday, May 2. Carver will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 21-3 non-league win over South Shore Vo-Tech (Hanover, MA).
