South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), 11-7 in a league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Westfield for a Concorde challenge on Thursday, May 2. South Lakes will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Chantilly falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Centreville (Clifton, VA) to face the Wildcats in a Concorde challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-12. Centreville won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Annandale (Annandale, VA)
