Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia City for a 1A Northern challenge on Thursday, May 2. Coleville will battle a Muckers squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Smith Valley falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV) to battle the Lakers in a 1A Northern challenge on Friday, May 3. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 4-9.
