DeSales Irish (Walla Walla, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Waitsburg Cardinals (Waitsburg, WA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Irish now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sunnyside Christian for a 1B Southeast - West challenge on Thursday, May 2. DeSales will face a Knights squad coming off a 23-5 non-league loss to Kittitas (Kittitas, WA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Waitsburg falls to 0-5 on the campaign.
