Ely Timberwolves (Ely, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Timberwolves now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Woods for a Freelance challenge on Thursday, May 2.

With the loss, Two Harbors falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Agates travel to Cromwell (Cromwell, MN) to battle the Cardinals in a Polar challenge on Monday, May 6. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
