In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) softball team overwhelmed the host Heber Springs Panthers (Heber Springs, AR), by a margin of 11-2.
With the triumph, Mayflower moves its record to 20-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Quitman (Quitman, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 30. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 24-7.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 2. Heber Springs will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record.
