Luxemburg-Casco Spartans (Luxemburg, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wrightstown for a North Eastern game on Thursday, May 2. Luxemburg-Casco will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 league win over Little Chute (Little Chute, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Clintonville Truckers (Clintonville, WI) in a North Eastern game, on Thursday, May 2. Waupaca will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Truckers come into the game with a 4-14 record after their 20-1 league loss to Denmark (Denmark, WI).
