California High School Softball - Mariposa County bounces Ripon Christian

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) and the visiting Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA), witnessed Mariposa County's softball squad prevail over Ripon Christian by a count of 19-5.

The Grizzlies now sport a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Delhi for a Southern Athletic League match on Wednesday, May 1. Mariposa County will face a Hawks squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Gustine (Gustine, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Ripon Christian moves to 4-13 on the season. The Knights host Le Grand (Le Grand, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a Southern Athletic League match on Thursday, May 2. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 17-2. Le Grand won 12-1 in their recent league match against Waterford (Waterford, CA)
