Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM), 19-9 in a league challenge.

The Rangers/Rangerettes now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pecos for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Mora will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 1-16.

With the loss, McCurdy falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Estancia (Estancia, NM) to battle the Bears in a A/2A District 2/5 challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 19-2.
