Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ridgeline Falcons (Liberty Lake, WA), 13-8 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host University for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, May 2. Mt. Spokane will battle a Titans squad coming off a 17-0 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA). The Titans record now stands at 18-0.

With the loss, Ridgeline falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Ferris (Spokane, WA) to battle the Saxons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Saxons enter the challenge with a record of 8-10. Ferris won 14-12 in their recent league challenge against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)
