The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) and the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL), saw Naperville Central's softball squad nip Waubonsie Valley by a count of 10-5.

The Redhawks now sport a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benet Academy for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Naperville Central will face a Redwings squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Waubonsie Valley falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to face the Mustangs in a DuPage Valley match on Thursday, May 2. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 12-9. Metea Valley won 10-9 in their recent league match against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)
