The Reed City Coyotes softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Newaygo Lions to 5 in the Coyotes league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Reed City moves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI) to play the Mohawks in a Central State Activities Association-Gold game on Friday, May 3. The Mohawks come into the game with a record of 2-3.

In their next game, the Lions play the Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 2. Newaygo will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record.
