Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host Seton for a Virginia Christian challenge on Thursday, May 2. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will battle a Conquistadors squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Quantico (Quantico, VA). The Conquistadors record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Oakcrest falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-5.
