California High School Softball - San Luis Obispo can't get by Orcutt Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) softball team held off the visiting San Luis Obispo Tigers (San Luis Obispo, CA), by a margin of 5-4.

With the triumph, Orcutt Academy moves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Nipomo (Nipomo, CA) to play the Titans in a CCAA - Ocean contest on Thursday, May 2. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 9-13. Nipomo won 16-2 in their recent league contest against Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA)

In their next game, the Tigers play the Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA) in a CCAA - Ocean contest, on Thursday, May 2. San Luis Obispo will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 3-11 record after their 11-6 league win over Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA).

The Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) varsity softball team won Tuesday's home conference game against San Luis Obispo (CA) in extra innings by a score of 5-4.
