The Peninsula Seahawks softball team (Gig Harbor, WA), was routed 11-4 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA)

Coming up next, the Tornados encounter the Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) in a 3A South Sound test, on Wednesday, May 1. Yelm will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Tides come into the test with a 7-7 record after their 9-2 league loss to Timberline (Lacey, WA).

The Seahawks (3-11) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Hawks come into the 3A South Sound test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, River Ridge edged North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 21-2, in a league test.
