New York High School Softball - Pulaski gets by Port Byron

The Pulaski Blue Devils nipped the host Port Byron Panthers softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Blue Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY). The Gaelic Knights go into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bishop Ludden held off Henninger (Syracuse, NY), 16-14, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to LaFayette/Onondaga for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Port Byron will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Fabius Pompey (Fabius, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 4-4.
