The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 5 in the Green Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Wilson Memorial moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Green Hornets travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to clash with the Little Giants in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Little Giants come into the game with a record of 4-6.

In their next game, the Gladiators clash with the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah game, on Monday, May 6. Riverheads will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
