In Wednesday's league bout, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), by a score of 13-5.
Next up, the Beavers encounter the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a Founders bout, on Friday, May 2. Avon Old Farms will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Big Red enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 15-8 league loss to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT).
The Pelicans (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Martlets enter the Founders bout with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Westminster School achieved victory over Kent School (Kent, CT), 4-1, in a league bout.
