The Bernards Mountaineers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Parsippany Redhawks to 1 in the Mountaineers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Bernards will clash with a Blue Streaks team coming off a 12-4 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 6-8.
With the defeat, Parsippany drops to 9-4 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ) to clash with the Blue Streaks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. The Blue Streaks go into the test with a record of 5-8. Warren Hills Regional lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ)
