Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Bishop McCort wallops Westmont Hilltop

The Bishop McCort Crushers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers to 5 in the Crushers league win on Wednesday.

The Crushers now hold a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Guilfoyle for a Laurel Highlands East test on Friday, May 2. Bishop McCort will play a Marauders team coming off a 4-1 league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Marauders record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Westmont Hilltop drops to 5-8 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to play the Eagles in a Laurel Highlands East test on Friday, May 2. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-10. Bald Eagle Area lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA)
