Indiana High School Baseball - South Bend Saint Joseph held off by Elkhart

April 30, 2025: South Bend, IN 46617

Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN), 3-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Elkhart moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Lions host Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 9-6. Chesterton lost 10-3 in their recent league match against Lake Central (St. John, IN)

The Huskies now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. South Bend Saint Joseph will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Niles (Niles, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 10-3.
