California High School Baseball - Fairfax sneaks past Westchester

April 30, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90046

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), saw Fairfax's baseball team get by Westchester by a tally of 2-1.

The Lions (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers enter the Western battle with a 23-1 record. In their last battle, Venice held off San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Comets face the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western battle, on Friday, May 2. Westchester will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 9-13 record after their 4-1 league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).
