West Virginia High School Baseball - Fairmont Senior sneaks past North Marion

April 30, 2025: Fairmont, WV 26554

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) and the visiting North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV), saw Fairmont Senior's baseball team get by North Marion by a tally of 4-3.

The Polar Bears (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Elkins held off Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 9-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Huskies face the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. North Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Monarchs enter the battle with a 9-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH).
