The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) and the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), witnessed Ridgewood's baseball team knock off Hackensack by a count of 10-0.

The Maroons now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Don Bosco Prep for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. Ridgewood will clash with a Ironmen team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Ironmen record now stands at 12-4.

With the defeat, Hackensack drops to 6-10 on the year. The Comets host Paramus (Paramus, NJ) to clash with the Spartans in a Big North - Freedom challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Paramus won 13-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ)
