Ohio High School Baseball - Lakota nips Hopewell-Loudon

The Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH) baseball got by the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), 7-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mohawk for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. Lakota will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 6-2 league win over Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 13-3.

With the defeat, Hopewell-Loudon drops to 13-4 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Margaretta (Castalia, OH) to clash with the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Polar Bears go into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Margaretta won 18-2 in their recent league challenge against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH)
