The Westport Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Hull Pirates to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Melrose for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Westport will clash with a Red Raiders team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Hull drops to 4-5 on the year. The Pirates host West Bridgewater (West Bridgewater, MA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-7. West Bridgewater lost 14-0 in their recent league test against Seekonk (Seekonk, MA)
