In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Kimball Union Academy Wildcats baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the New Hampton School Huskies.
The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul's (Concord, NH). The Big Red go into the Lakes Region game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, St. Paul's nudged Brewster Academy National (Wolfeboro, NH), 17-6, in a league game.
Next, the Huskies play the Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT) in a Lakes Region game, on Friday, May 2. New Hampton School will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 10-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Tilton School (Tilton, NH).
