The Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH) baseball trounced the visiting Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH), 10-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Jefferson for a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Friday, May 2. Madison Plains will clash with a Roughriders team coming off a 10-0 league win over Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 12-3.

With the defeat, Southeastern Local drops to 0-12 on the year. The Trojans host Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Triad lost 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)
