Maryland High School Baseball - St. Mary's defeats McDonogh

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) and the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), saw St. Mary's's baseball team gain a win over McDonogh by a tally of 17-9.
The Saints (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, St. John's Catholic Prep was overwhelmed by Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD), 11-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) in a MIAA B Red battle, on Friday, May 2. McDonogh will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Admirals enter the battle with a 16-3 record after their 6-4 league loss to St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD).
