The West Boylston Lions (West Boylston, MA) baseball trounced the host Murdock Blue Devils (Winchendon, MA), 17-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Maynard for a Midland-Wachusett D game on Friday, May 2. West Boylston will play a Tigers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.
Next, the Blue Devils play the Bromfield Trojans (Harvard, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Murdock will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 7-1 record after their 11-1 league win over Maynard (Maynard, MA).
