Ohio High School Baseball - Westfall sneaks past Piketon

In Wednesday's league game, the host Westfall Mustangs baseball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Piketon Redstreaks.
The Mustangs now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southeastern for a Scioto Valley challenge on Friday, May 2. Westfall will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 15-4 league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
With the defeat, Piketon drops to 4-10 on the year. The Redstreaks host Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Dawson-Bryant won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Fairland (Proctorville, OH)
