The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA) and the visiting Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA), saw St. John Paul II's baseball team gain a win over Sturgis West by a tally of 19-0.
The Lions (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nantucket (Nantucket, MA). The Whalers enter the Cape & Islands battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Nantucket defeated Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 20-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Navigators face the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a Cape & Islands battle, on Wednesday, May 7. Sturgis West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
