The Malden Golden Tornados nudged the visiting Somerville Highlanders volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Tornados (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Greater New Bedford RVT edged Bellingham (Bellingham, MA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Somerville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Malden (Malden, MA).
