In Wednesday's league challenge, the host St. Augustine Saints volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Scripps Ranch Falcons.

The Saints (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons come into the challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Cathedral Catholic edged Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, May 2. Scripps Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-17 record after their 2-1 league loss to Francis Parker (San Diego, CA).
