The Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars volleyball squad (Bridgeport, CT), dropped 3-1 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT)

With the win, Newtown improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 7-4. Cheshire lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT)

The Cougars now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Masuk for a South-West battle on Friday, May 2. Kolbe-Cathedral will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.
