The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) and the visiting St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY), saw St. Joseph-by-the-Sea's baseball team get by St. Peter's by a tally of 6-5.
The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Stepinac held off Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. St. Peter's will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Xavier (New York, NY).
