In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Catholic Central Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the Spring Lake Lakers.

The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack go into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Saint Ignatius College Prep held off Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 14-12, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers clash with the East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Spring Lake will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, MI).
