The Holly Springs Golden Hawks soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Cary Imps to 0 in the Golden Hawks league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Hawks now hold a 16-1 record. They play next when they host Panther Creek for a Southwest Wake 4A bout on Monday, May 5. Holly Springs will play a Catamounts squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Cary moves to 2-16 on the year. The Imps travel to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC) to play the Patriots in a Southwest Wake 4A bout on Monday, May 5. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Apex Friendship won 7-3 in their recent league bout against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)
