In Wednesday's league outing, the host Falls Lake Firebirds soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Research Triangle Raptors.
The Firebirds (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors go into the Super Six 1A/2A outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Research Triangle was edged by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 4-3, in a league outing.
