Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting South Stanly Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 13-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Union Academy moves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Monday, May 5. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-5. Mount Pleasant lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Rebel Bulls now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Gray Stone Day for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Monday, May 5. South Stanly will clash with a Knights team coming off a 1-0 league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.
