The Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) baseball trounced the host Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA), 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chilhowie for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12.
With the defeat, Virginia High drops to 5-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Marion (Marion, VA) to clash with the Scarlet Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Marion won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Richlands (Richlands, VA)
