North Carolina High School Baseball - Christ School nips Asheville Christian Academy

The Christ School Greenies baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Asheville Christian Academy Lions to 5 in the Greenies league win on Wednesday.
The Greenies now hold a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph's Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Christ School will play a Knights team coming off a 6-6 non-league Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Asheville Christian Academy drops to 4-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-7. Gaston Christian won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)
