The Biglerville Canners baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Hanover Nighthawks to 2 in the Canners non-league win on Wednesday.

The Canners now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Perry for a non-league test on Friday, May 9.

With the defeat, Hanover drops to 0-16 on the year. The Nighthawks host York Catholic (York, PA) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Fighting Irish go into the test with a record of 2-5. York Catholic won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Hanover (Hanover, PA)
