In Wednesday's league game, the host Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Logan Elm Braves.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Newark (Newark, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Newark nudged Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH), 16-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Braves play the Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH) in a game, on Friday, May 2. Logan Elm will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 5-4 league loss to Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH).
