Connecticut High School Baseball - Staples/Trumbull wallops Greenwich

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Staples/Trumbull baseball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Greenwich Cardinals.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Wilton was overwhelmed by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 13-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals play the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 2. Greenwich will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 4-1 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Darien (Darien, CT).
