In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Halifax County Comets soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Magna Vista Warriors.
The Comets (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against George Washington (Danville, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, George Washington by Martinsville (Martinsville, VA), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Warriors play the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 2. Magna Vista will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bengals go into the outing with a 9-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over George Washington (Danville, VA).
