The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) and the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), observed Turner Ashby's softball team prevail over Harrisonburg by a tally of 15-0.
The Knights (14-1) will now prepare for their bout against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Spotswood was routed by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 12-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Blue Streaks clash with the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Harrisonburg will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Gobblers go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
