In Wednesday's league challenge, the host East Providence Townies lacrosse squad scored a good 18-0 triumph over the Classical Purple.
The Townies (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeler (Providence, RI). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Wheeler knocked off Rocky Hill Country Day (East Greenwich, RI), 11-5, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Purple clash with the Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Friday, May 2. Classical will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 16-6 non-league win over North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
