North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Marvin Ridge sneaks past Cuthbertson

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-12 win over the Cuthbertson Cavaliers.
The Mavericks (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Sun Valley nipped Butler (Matthews, NC), 12-9, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest, on Thursday, May 1. Cuthbertson will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
