The Monroe Hornets lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Tippecanoe Red Devils to 6 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 1. Monroe will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-10 non-league loss to Oakwood (Dayton, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Tippecanoe falls to 3-2 on the year. The Red devils travel to Edgewood (Trenton, OH) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 3. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 6-5. Edgewood lost 18-2 in their recent non-league outing against Northmont (Clayton, OH)
